Professional Experience

2003 - Present - Expert Witness

Employed by various clients regarding banking, trust, and estate and IRA matters in litigation in Federal and State courts.  Clients equally split between plaintiffs and defendants.

1964 through 2005 - Bank officership, management, and executive positions with Hibernia National Bank, Chase Bank - Texas, Texas Commerce Bank, First City Bank of Texas, First Security National Bank of Beaumont, and Republic National Bank of Dallas.

In addition to Trust management responsibilities, Mr. Hitt served as either the Secretary to the Board or as an Advisory Director of his banking units from 1978 through 2005.  During most of these years, he also served on the Executive Management Committees of these banking units.
